Nadine Roberts-Cornish Finding Your Voice in Your Caregiving
A caregiver coach, consultant, gerontologist, speaker and author, Nadine is passionate about caring for the caregiver. She has an extensive background in public health education serving as an independent consultant to California’s most innovative social marketing campaigns. For 15 years, she served as intermittent, long distance and 24/7 caregiver to her mother. That experience changed the trajectory of her life and in 2009 she founded The Caregiver’s Guardian, LLC and began serving and supporting family caregivers across the country. The rich tapestry of her personal and professional experience is captured in her inaugural book, “Tears In My Gumbo…The Caregiver’s Recipe for Resilience where she reveals the 5 Steps of Conscious Caregiving. Stephanie Villafuerte Finding Your Voice in Your Community
Stephanie has served as Colorado’s Child Protection Ombudsman since 2015. For the past 25 years, Ms. Villafuerte has dedicated her legal and public policy career to improving the plight of abused and neglected children. Prior to being appointed as the Ombudsman, Ms. Villafuerte served for five years as the Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, a 30-year-old non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality legal services and public policy advocacy for abused and neglected children. In this capacity Ms. Villafuerte worked extensively with the state’s juvenile courts, human service providers and other non-profit agencies to address the myriad of needs of this vulnerable population. Ms. Villafuerte also has an extensive public policy and legislative background on children’s issues.
Deidre Johnson Finding Your Voice in Your Community
Deidre Johnson is the CEO and Executive Director of The Center for African-American Health. A community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of African Americans, The Center works toward health equity for the underserved African American community by offering culturally competent health education and outreach that empowers community members to overcome the root causes of health problems, maximize their own individual health and access health and support services. Johnson is an ASCEND Aspen Institute Colorado Children and Families Health and Human Services Fellow (2017-2018), a Transformative Leadership for Change Fellow (2017-2018) and a 2018 Livingston Fellow. A results-oriented executive, Johnson has an extensive background in strategic planning, grant making, grants management, fund raising, program development, project management, strategic learning and systems evaluation.

Carol Carter is a national and international student success author, speaker, corporate veteran, entrepreneur, and community leader. At the college level, her Keys to Success series has been read by more than 1,000,000 students and has been translated into Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, and Canadian editions. Carol founded LifeBound, a student success company that publishes books and conducts trainings in academic coaching skills in the United States and internationally. Through LifeBound, Carol has published twelve books to improve the pipeline from 5th-12th grade for our students, especially those who are low-income. In 2013, Carol founded GlobalMindED, a 501(c)3 organization that holds an annual conference convening leaders in education, government, business, and social enterprise committed to making a world of difference through creating a capable, diverse talent pipeline.

Registrations cancelled within two weeks of conference start may receive a 50% refund. Registrations cancelled within 7 days prior to conference start will not be refunded, but may be applied to another WCOF program within a 12-month timeframe, less a 10% administrative fee. No refunds will be available after the conference begins.
